Fig and French Earl Grey Cake Kit

I tried the Cany Land kit over Christmas and it turned out amazing. It was uper easy to make and tasyed incredible. The quality of the kit is fantastic - made me feel like a professional baker. Definitely ordering another one for my son's birthday!

I have always been a fan of the creations from Maja Rose Cake Designs – they made the cake for my hens and wedding and loved their Fathers’ Day and Christmas treat boxes. Never in my life did I think I could make a cake anywhere close to the level of their creations.
Enter their cake kit.
I used their almond affogato cake kit to make my daughter’s 4th Frozen themed birthday cake. I was a bit unsure about whether I could create a cake as good as the one on the instructions but I wanted to shoot for the stars. I LOVED it. The instructions were detailed and written in a way that was easy to follow. Everything was labelled and measured and the disposable baking trays blew my mind – being able to bake without buying different size baking trays was a gamechanger.
I had so much fun baking my daughter’s cake – I used fondant snowflakes and a Frozen cake toper to theme the cake. It looked so amazing – I was stunned that I could follow instructions to make such a beautiful cake and the flavours were just perfect – a sophisticated chocolate cake with divine buttercream. Everyone at the party were so impressed and kept asking for the recipe!
I am definitely going to buy another cake kit for making birthday cakes. I would highly recommend for any aspiring or budding baker – you will have so much fun and surprise yourself (and others!) with what you can achieve.

I recently made the cookies and cream cake for Father’s Day and was blown away by how fun, easy and delicious it was. The instructions were simple to follow and the cake came together effortlessly. I was slightly intimated by the design at first but was amazed at how easily it all came together. The flavor was incredible and a huge hit with my family. I’m already excited to try more kits—highly recommend!

Never in a million years did I think I could produce a cake like this! I was promised I'd be able to do it but must admit I was skeptical. I'm a mum, with mum guilt, who had given up on baking family cakes as it was just one stressful experience after another. But I followed the instructions, and making it over the 2 days made it so easy (highly recommend)! As a serious chocolate loving household I went for the Cookies and Cream (a kid winner too) - it looked so professional. Hard to believe I made it really - and the best bit - how good it tasted - heavenly!

The combination of these two flavours worked really well. We loved the moist cake and the rosewater raspberry jam buttercream. There was definitely enough of everything: jam, rose-petals, pink colouring, pistachios. The pistachios were unsalted, a lovely green colour, really fresh and tasted great. When you cut the cake, the colours look really pretty: green pistachios, pastel pink buttercream and rose petals.

I made the French Earl Grey tea with vanilla cake. I was a bit nervous because it looked complicated and it was decorated beautifully. I didn’t think I had the skills to complete it. But the instructions and pics were so clear that all my fears disappeared. My cake turned out perfectly! Even the decorating looked beautiful. The ingredients are high quality, the kit has absolutely everything you need. Maja Rose have thought of everything. This is a fantastic product, a great idea and a pleasure to use. Highly recommended.

The cake turned out absolutely delicious, but the standout for me was the icing—it was so easy to make and tasted amazing! Everything was well-organized, making it a fun and enjoyable baking experience. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or just looking for a hassle-free way to bake a delicious boutique cake!

I’ve never been much of a baking goddess (think Cher in Clueless) however that was until I baked a chocolate and cookies and cream cake with a Maja Rose Cake Kit! From the moment the package arrived, I could tell I had myself a premium product. The kit was so lovingly prepared with amazing quality ingredients and the instructions were very easy to follow. The disposable baking pans made the process to easy, no lining of baking tins needed! The flavour of the cake was unlike anything you will buy in store. I could not recommend a Maja Rose Cake Kit more, you will surprise yourself, I know I did!

This was an easy and enjoyable cake to make, with clear step-by-step instructions. Along with helpful tips along the way, it has instructions for every stage that makes it almost foolproof to bake, assemble, and decorate. Along with having fun while making it, it had such great flavour, and it was not too sweet, too moist, or too dry- it was perfect. This is a great flavour if you love red velvet cake, as it is well-balanced. Along with the cake itself, the packaging was absolutely beautiful, and it comes with the majority of what one would need to bake a cake, as well as decorating tools. Overall, one of my favourite cakes I have ever made.

The Maja Rose kit is superbly presented. Everything that was listed in the pack was there, in pristine condition, and all ingredients were high quality. The best part about the pack was that it gave me the confidence to try a layer-cake and buttercream piping for the first time. If you read the instructions carefully (and follow them!) the result is a stunning layer-cake you can be proud of. The actual cake is moist and has a medium-strength coffee flavour when eaten together with the buttercream icing. I realised that the “difficulty level” of the Affogato cake is only related to the decoration and design (and not the actual cake baking.) I did get gold sprinkles everywhere! I should have taken more note of the “baking tip” to put a tray underneath before starting the decoration. The piping turned out really well. I practised piping on a plate first (as the instructions suggested) and we were thrilled with the result. Also, you don’t need your own baking tins to make this cake, because the kit includes disposable ones. They worked really well, and there’s no washing up!

I got this kit for my kids (9 and 12) who loved making this cake. They were able to follow the instructions and process with minimal input from me and were so proud of their creation. They made the cake for Grandma’s birthday so it was a really special and personalised creation. The Fig and Earl grey flavour was such a hit. Everyone loved it.

Flavour combination was sensational. My house smelt divine as the cake was baking and the instructions were very straight forward and easy to follow. All my friends were so impressed that I actually made the cake and it looked pretty close to the original

Was given as a corporate Christmas gift. Loved that it was personal enough as it was for clients who love to cook, but general enough that I wouldn’t make a faux pas in gifting.
